Hey all! Thought I would post something that actually means something. Our life in Ithaca: Shanae - She has been working at the health club and I love it because I get a great discount and we get to work out together. We have been working out almost every day, which is nice because it helps relieve some stress from school and I am starting to look better...ok, less pudgy! Also, she just completed her CPR/AED, First Aid certificaiton(again) as part of her training. Me - I am starting to keep pace with graduate school. It is definitely demanding, but managable once ya get the hang of it and know what to expect. It's about five notches up from undergrad, so I just needed to get in the swing. I have finals tomorrow and Tuesday.

Shanae and I are so excited for next week because we booked a room on the 18th floor of the Doubletree that faces Niagara Falls for the fourth of July. It is going to be a ton of fun and I am sure the fireworks will be spectacular. You can be sure we will take pictures and post them.

Wish we could have everyone over and show ya around town, but we hope that for now the blog and pictures suffice. Have a great fourth of July!

We had fun at the Ithaca Festival last week! They host it every year in the summer. We enjoyed the music, clothing, and the FOOD! As you can see the food was Ben's favorite part. He enjoyed his extra large smoothie!

I could not help myself, I was way too thirsty! I decided to drink out of the Buttermilk Falls! MMM GOOD!

We went to Buttermilk Falls today and it was beautiful. There is so much to do in Ithaca. It is so green and very humid!

I GOT A JOB IN NY!

Well, it has been a long three weeks of interviews, but I finally found a job. Well, I am going to have two part time jobs. I will work on Cornell campus as a personal trainer and then at the "only" nice fitness center in town called Island Health and Fitness. I am excited, but have really enjoyed being a stay at home mom. Who said you need kids to be a stay at home mom when you have a husband like mine. Ben is doing great! School is hard and demanding, but he can handle it (he puts up with me every day). NY is a great place, but just for one year!
