Baby #2

Yes, they will be around 17 months apart. Yes, it will be crazy and hectic. Yes, we will have two in cribs and two in diapers. Yes, we are so EXCITED!

We are expecting another baby at the end of this year. My due date is January 6th, but since we will be having another c-section the baby will be coming the last week of December (so we think). I am almost two months along now and have been feeling extremely sick. I don't feel as bad as I did with Saige, but still nauseous all day long. I am sick when I don't eat and sick when I do eat. The worst is changing dirty diapers and gagging every time I do. I have a real good sniffer, but when I am pregnant I can smell a fart from 4 miles away!

We told my family this week. It was so fun. We had my parents go to dinner with us for our anniversary. I bought Saige a t-shirt that said "big sister to be". My mom noticed it within 5 minutes of me taking off her jacket. They are so excited for us! We went to all my sisters houses and told them as well. It was so great to see the look on their faces. Nobody was expecting it this time.

The Last Game!

So my basketball season ended last night. We lost 4 games and won our last 4 games! We did pretty good considering we were the older ladies! Ben called us the Golden Girls! I had a great time and glad that we could finally pull out some wins! I will put my shoes away until next year.

Catching Up

So much has happened in the last few weeks. Ben got another job offer and so we were busy trying to decide if we wanted to take it. He got an offer at the Ameritel in Idaho Falls for the General Manager position. We thought it would be great to have twice the pay and better benefits, but it did not turn out as well as we thought. We are probably not going to take it, but we will have to see.

I went in for an interview at Anytime Fitness for what I thought was an open position for Personal Trainer. I thought that would work out well since I can make my own schedule and work early mornings or nights. I walked in the talk to the manger and he offered me a different position. They called me in to offer me the Manager position. I was not expecting that at all. I would love that position and really wanted to take it, but it would require me working 9-6 mon-fri and I would have to take Saige to a sitter all day. Ben and I thought about it and the money would be nice, but the time away from Saige was too much. It is so hard to be a mom. I really miss working and using the education I worked so hard to get and still paying for, but it is also great to help Saige learn and grow. I know we made the right decision, but it would have been fun to manage a fitness center!

So speaking of Saige, she is doing so much now! She has five teeth and working on the sixth one this week. Here are some pictures of her brushing her teeth for the first time. She loved to eat the toothpaste! She likes the bottom teeth brushed, but not the top ones.

Saige has also learned to walk at 9 months! She can walk all the way across the living room. I have taken some videos and will try to post some later. She does really good, but falls if she goes to fast. She is getting into everything!
