Halloween WARNING!
So after all my hard work of carving my pumpkin we wanted to leave it outside to show it off! We woke up today to our pumpkin carved by NY deer! I did not know they liked to eat pumkin. I guess we know that next time we need to keep our pumkins inside!

Ben and I went to Iron Kettle Farms to pick out the perfect pumkins. We drove 35 min. to this really cool farm that had tons of pumkins. We took some Singapore students with us from Ben's hotel group. They have never carved pumpkins and thought that is was a weird Holiday. So we picked out one of the biggest ones to carve and went to our friends house for a carving party. It took me two hours to gut and carve the big one into a Frankenstein. Ben's only took 10 min to make his skull. We had a lot of fun!

I WON!!!

Shanae and I are so excited! Part of my degree includes doing an intensive, real life case study project with a visiting company. The visiting company was ClubCorp. They are the largest Private Clubs organization in the United States with a portfolio inlcuding 152 Golf & Country and Business Clubs. After working tirelessly for three straight days my team presented and the winners were announced. We won! The prize: Free membership including dues to the club of our choice for one year. If Shanae and I do end up in Park City, UT that would mean that our closest club would be the Aspen Glen Club. Their initiation fees are $100,000, plus monthly dues. I have attached some photos to help you get a feel for the caliber of the club.

So we are officially COLD! Well, I guess just me and not Ben. We are looking at buying winter coats soon. We have been enjoying the last few days of the Fall. It is so pretty here and so I took more pictures of our neighborhood and house. We can't wait until Christmas so we can go visit family in ID and AZ!
Ben is on Fall Break right now, but we did not want to spend anymore money and go on vacation since we will be gone for a month at Christmas time. We are doing something tomorrow for our break. Ben won a free night stay at a nice hotel called La Tourelle that is ten minutes from our house. We will be staying there tomorrow night with a fireplace and jacuzzi!

The Fall is here! We took this at Taughannock Falls yesterday. Check out the beautiful trees! The leaves are changing colors and Ithaca is getting more colorful each day.
It is officially COLD! The temperature here in NY at night is in the 30's to 40's. We wake up to frost on the windows. We have finally had to put on coats for the first time in two and half years. I am excited to wear all my old winter clothes that have been stashed in a bin for the last few years. It is like Christmas as I pull out old sweaters and coats. We are looking forward to a WHITE Winter, but I don't want to drive in it. We just purchased our tickets for the Holidays. We will be leaving on Dec. 19th and going to AZ for four days, then we are off to good old Shelley Idaho. We are going to stay with my family for a few weeks and then were off to Park City for Ben's externship. He will be there for two weeks and working at gCommerce Internet Solutions. It is a hospitality internet marketing company. He is looking at maybe working for them after graduation. We are excited to leave and visit family. ONLY 10 MORE WEEKS! We are doing good and staying out of trouble.

Flag Football at Cornell!
Ben and I have been playing flag football at Cornell the last few weeks. We play on a Co-ed team with other church members and Ben also plays on a Men's Competitive League with guys from Elders Quorum. We have had fun, but two weeks ago I got injured a ton. We only had six players for our team and the other team had eight. Lets just say that I got double gaurded, punched in the chest, clothes-lined, and had bruises all over. Ben's team is in 1st place out of 20 teams and our co-ed team is in 4th out of 10 teams. We are liking the cold fall football weather!
