Jackson Trip

We decided to go to Jackson Wyoming a couple of weeks ago. We only live an hour and 15 min away from it. We had a lot of fun! Saige slept the entire way there and all the way home. She had fun walking around to all the shops. We even saw BIG FOOT. If you are not sure what one is BIG FOOT it is the one in the blue shirt

The last picture is Ben and Saige on Thanksgiving morning looking at the Black Friday Ads. It was so cute to see her hanging out with her Daddy!

TEETH!

This is the best picture I could get of her her teeth. She was not liking it and everytime the camera flashed she would close her eyes. Sorry!

On Wednesday my mom came to Rexburg to visit us for the day. She was holding Saige and asked if I had been checking her mouth. I thought she meant that Saige had put something in her mouth and I needed to be more careful with her on the floor. I went and checked on Saige and my mom said to put my finger in her mouth and check it. It was two teeth on the bottom! How can that be she is only 4 months! It is a good thing for grandmas! She has been very pleasant and not really fussy so I had no idea. She has been chewing on things more lately, but has been a really good baby. You can see them more and more each day. They look so cute!

We are staying busy and getting ready for our trip to Las Vegas and Arizona for Christmas. We can't wait for the warmer weather!

I am trying to look for a job here in Rexburg, but no luck so far. A college town is not the place to find a good job. I would love to start my own business if I knew we would be in Rexburg longer than 3 years.

Ben loves his job! He is having fun now that it is opened. We love the discounts on hotels we get, but don't get to travel much. We hope to go on a nice vacation next Spring (Hawaii, Florida, ?) We our planning our 5 year anniversary to New Zealand. We hope to save up before then!

What's new?

So a lot has happened recently and we have not been good about blogging the news. I think you all know, but I got a job working at the new SpringHill Suites by Marriot in Rexburg as the Sales Manager. We just opened yesterday and things are going well. I really enjoy my job and the people I work with. Because of the new job we moved to Rexburg about two weeks ago. We are renting a nice, new townhome that is huge and perfect for us right now. The ward is a good mix of students with families and "locals." Shanae's aunt and uncle are in our ward, which has helped us transition more easily. We are eating with them for Thanksgiving.

We have big plans for Christmas. Arizona is where we will be with my family. Saige is very exciting to meet the rest of her family. We will be gone for about a week and are staying two days in Las Vegas at the JW Marriott (love the company discount) before heading down to AZ.

More exciting news is that Saige rolled over for the first time yesterday and all of the sudden is a pro. Anytime we lay her on her back she automatically rolls over onto her stomach (kinda like a hognose snake, but the other way around - wiki it), partly to show off and partly just because she can. She is sure adorable and gets more fun each day. We took her to the doctor the other day and she now weighs almost 16 pounds.

The below pictures were taken about a month ago and we love them. There are some real cute ones of Saige and Shanae's not bad either. LIFE IS GOOD!

Happy Halloween!

Saige had so much fun with her 1st Halloween! She was a cute little Bunny! She had fun going to the Trunk-or-Treat with her cousins! We can't wait until next year!

What is Going On?

Sorry about not updating, but it has been so busy. We have been looking to buy a house the last few weeks. We could not decide if we should rent or buy. We found a really great house in Idaho Falls within our price range. We are going with the Realtor tonight one more time to look at houses and then we will make an offer. We wanted to live in Rexburg, but there are no houses in our price range there. It will be nice to live by my sisters!

Saige will turn 3 months next week! It is going by too fast. She has been laughing so much lately. She loves to be naked. She must get that from the Lee side! We are getting family pictures done this weekend.

I am applying for jobs to work a few hours a week. We need a little extra cash! I am not sure if I am excited to work again or not. I will watch Saige while Ben goes to work and then he will watch her while I go to work. We hope it will work out.

What can happen in a Week!

Sunday:

The day before we went to get our car appraised for a new car my Dad backed into our car. We have had that car for three and a half years with no problems until we are ready to sell it!



Monday:

We almost bought a Dodge Magnum. Ben was totally set on this car, but I thought we should look around some more. He is glad that he listened to his wife! We found a better car the next day!




Tuesday:

Saige turned 2 months! She is now smiling, giggling, and loves to play with Daddy!








Wednesday:

We got a NEW CAR! It is a Audi Allroad Quattro Wagon. It is so nice and I love driving it! Saige loves to ride in it with her Mommy!





Thursday:

We are officially Idahohans! We registered our new car and received our Idaho plates!




Friday:

Ben got a JOB! Ben got offered the Sales Manager Position at the new Springhill Suites by Marriott in Rexburg, Idaho. They will open the doors in Mid-October. We will be living in Idaho for the next few years!

Blessing Day!

Saige was blessed last Sunday the 6th of September. It was a very special day for her and us! We had lots of family there. Ben's parents and sister Erin came from AZ and we were so excited they were there. Ben blessed Saige and it was so beautiful. It is crazy to think that our little girl will grow up and fufill the blessing that Ben gave her from her Heavenly Father. She is such a precious Spirit. We love her!

Saige will be two months in 10 days. I can't believe how fast it has been going. She is starting to smile when you talk to her. She loves playing with Daddy in the morning when she wakes up. That is her happiest time of day! She has even giggled at us a few times!
