Ben's ASU Graduation May 2008

Another Trip to Palmyra! We live an hour away from Palmyra so we have decided to try to go to the Temple every two weeks while we are out here. We went last Saturday and went to a couple more church historic sites. This is the statue in front of the Visitor's Center at the Hill Cumorah. It is the largest BOM I have ever seen!

This is a picture from Ben's graduation at Arizona State University. I forgot to post one up. I am so proud of him and all he has done in the last few years. He has less than ten months until he will graduate from Cornell University with his Masters in Hotel Management. His graduation is May 24th, 2009. We invite anyone who can make the trip to NY to come celebrate with us. We are looking at jobs in the Northwest part of the US. We are trying to move closer to family next year!

Ben and I went to the Dragon Boat races this weekend. They have them every year in Ithaca. We only stayed for one race but it was cool. They have these dragon boats with lots of people on them and they race other teams over a 500 meter distance. It was weird to see the person in the very front facing the paddlers drumming for their teammates. I guess you only find this in Ithaca. I have never seen this before. I think that it is an Asian event.

We met up with Rocky & Amanda at the Hill Cumorah Pageant. They came from AZ on a church tour. We were excited to see them!

We went to a session in the Palmyra Temple and then went to the Hill Cumorah Pageant. It was so fun and beautiful!

Ben and I are on a Intramural Softball League at Cornell. We play every Tuesday and Thursday night with the Hotelies! We both got hurt last week and hope to recover soon!

We saw this funeral home on our way to Niagara in Buffalo, NY. We thought it was pretty funny! I guess this is where you go if your not too sure if your dead or not! Am I Gone!

WE DID IT! Ben and I are both really afraid of rides, but somehow talked each other into doing this ride called the "Sky Screamer". It was so scary, but we had a fun time at Marineland in Canada!

We went on the famous "Maid of the Mist" boat ride. It was so amazing to be right in the middle of the falls. We got so soaked! We would definitely recommend this to anyone who goes to Niagara Falls.
