More Saige!

We are loving our little girl! She is so dang cute! She is really good. She does not cry much yet. She loves to sleep, eat and poop. I am recovering very quick. We went to our first doctors visit yesterday. Saige looks great and is a great eater (just like her daddy). We will go again next week for her 2 week check-up. We are having so much fun being parents! I am really tired, but she is worth it.

Saige Carolina Lee

Our beautiful little girl arrived on July 21st at 10:25 am. She wieghed a surprising 9 pounds and 1 ounce, and 20.5 inches. Mom and Dad were shocked, but then it made sense why she would not flip inside Mom's belly. She is a wonderful baby and she is totally Daddy's girl. Mom is doing well and recovering from the C-section better than expected. Many family members have been by to hold and admire her.

Baby News!

So we have been trying some things these last few weeks to see if our little girl will turn. We have tried the yoga poses and moving around alot, but today we tried the Websters Technique. We went to a Chiropractor this morning to see if this would help her turn. It took about 5 min and was not painful at all. If your interested in seeing what it is this is the u-tube video I found on it

The chiro told us that she might turn within the next two days. If she does not turn by Wednesday morning then we will try it again. He has done this to at least 15 pregnant women and they have all turned except one. So, I hope to keep his success rate going!!!

We went to the OBGYN doctor today after the chiro. He said I am not dilated at all since she is breech. He wants to see me next Monday for our last visit. If she has not turned by Monday then we will be having her next Tuesday. He will schedule me for the surgery room and try to manually turn her and if she does then he will induce me, but if she does not turn then we do the c-section. So not matter what she will be coming next Tuesday the 21st. Unless she decides to come before Monday, which I really hope she waits now since our doctor will be out of town this week for his son's wedding.

I am so excited and totally nervous. I can't wait to see her. We had a baby shower for her this last Saturday and got so much stuff! We are ready for her arrival!!!

We had an exciting event today (at least for me). I have not seen a moose since I was 3 years old at Yellowstone, but today that all changed. Every time I go fishing I do some driving around in the mountains hoping to see one, but have thus far been unsuccessful. This morning we got a call from Shanae's mom who was at work saying that the neighbor saw a moose in the yard. Shanae and I got the binoculars and took off and there he was! Standing right in the middle of a grain field. Apparently they come down pretty frequently to feed and bed. It was very cool. I wanted to get closer, but knew I shouldn't. They are known to charge people. Needless to say, it was very cool!
