Tada! The moment you have all been waiting for. This is a picture of most of the other students in my program and I at College Town Bagels. After our final first semester presentations we all went out for some grub and to say our goodbyes (at least until we met back up at the beginning of the next semester). In case you are wondering I am in the back row without a jacket on. Not that I am hard to spot.
Update: Shanae and I are doing very well. The first semester is under way and classes are moving quickly for me. Shanae has been very busy with all of the students back and some days she works 11 hour shifts between Cornell Fitness Centers and Island Health and Fitness. The weather is beginning to cool off a little, but it is still nice enough to get out for some hiking or tennis.
Shanae and I spoke in church last week and I made the mistake of telling Shanae to take as much time as she needed. She turned a 10 minute talk into a 30 minute talk and finished speaking at 5 after 10. A member of the Branch Presidency stood and said that the congregation would skip the intermediate hymn and hear a "BRIEF" talk from Brother Lee. I proceeded to introduce myself then sat down. In Shanae's defense she did give a great talk about her unique temple experiences and many compliments were imparted afterwards.
Lastly, In case anyone was wondering my birthday is on the 17th! I am registered at Cabelas and Dick's Sporting Goods. I also accept food stamps and other charitable donations.
