Saige liked looking at Santa!

Saige and Ben waiting in line for Santa!

Saige did not like getting close to Santa and held onto Ben as hard as she could!

Saige stopped crying after Santa gave her a candycane!  She told him Thank You and said Bye like 10 times on our way out.  I know she would not like it, but wanted to have pics with her this year with Santa.
Maybe better pics next year!

Not sure if anyone even reads this but oh well.....here is a family update!

We have been very busy with getting ready for the new baby.  I have not bought too much since I still have all the things I need from Saige's baby years!  Saige is getting way too big!  She is the cutest little talker.  She can say anything now that she hears or you tell her to say.  She has already opened a few gifts early this year.  We bought DVD players for the car!  I am not sure how we ever survived w/o them.  It has made driving to Idaho Falls or anywhere so much better!  Saige loves Barney and loves to sing and dance to his shows.  I never thought I would ever watch Barney, but she loves it so much.  Ben is staying busy at the Hotel.  He has been having interviews for new jobs in AZ and UT, but we have not got an offer yet.  We are just seeing what is out there for us.  We are in no BIG rush!  Well, we only have two more weeks until our new little girl gets here unless she decides to come earlier.  We are scheduled for the 27th of this month!  Merry Christmas!

Updates

We have been staying pretty busy these last few weeks.  I had my 10 year reunion in Shelley.  It was nice to see old friends and classmates!  I can't believe that I have been graduated that long!

Tennille, Courtney, me, Hayley, Katie, Myka, and Chelsea

We also went to the annual Spud Day! Saige had so much fun at the parade. It did not take her long to learn how to pick up the candy that was being thrown to her and put it into her sack! She takes after Mommy!

I am getting bigger! I have been feeling pretty prego this last week. We have 13 weeks left today! I am very excited, but also know what to expect this time. I have enjoyed having a kid sleep through the night and play during the day. Saige is such an easy little girl. She was very difficult the first three months so it should be interesting to see how this little one is. Let's hope for the best!

Ben and I watched a lot of kids this weekend! Jana was out if town so we offered to take her kids and let them all spend the night. It was fun! Ben had them by himself while I went to the RS broadcast and none of them died! Kalli and Addy came to visit us too! Here is pics of the babies (Saige, Addy, and Owen).

And Saige is getting BIG!

The New Ride!

We traded in the Audi for this Dodge Nitro. It has been an awesome ride so far! We got a stellar deal on it and it should stay with us for awhile.

WOW! What she can do........

Saige is getting way too big! We have loved this last month so much with her. She is definitely not a baby anymore. She is a very BIG girl! Here are the things she can do and what she can say:

Mama or Mom
Dad or Dada
Papa (grandpa)
Nama (grandma)
Nana (Jana)
Bye Bye
Dog or Doggy
Baby while lifting up Mommy's shirt and giving my belly hugs and kisses
Hair while she pulls her own or mine
Up when she wants to get up on the couch or a chair
Clap, Clap while she claps her hands
She knows a few signs of sign language (sleep, milk, more, bath)
She can fold her arms for prayers and then say Amen when we are done
If you ask her what a Bear says she will go Rrrrr....Rrrrrr.....

These are just a few of the things she has been saying and doing lately that I can think of now, but she is a very funny little girl. She has been walking since she was 9 months so we really have been on the go with her since then. It has been very hard to get anything out of church lately since I am always in the hallway with her. She cannot sit still long enough to even say the prayer. She loves to play with other kids and when I took her to the nursery the other day to just see how she will do she ate all the kids snacks! Then she was playing with some ladies toes in the hallway and then wanted to give her a pedicure by eating her toes. I got her before she started to give out this "free service" to that lady! We have been having so much fun with her and can't wait to see how she will be around the new baby. I am pretty sure that she will be the "Best Big Sister"!

IT"S A ?

We went yesterday to find out what Baby #2 is at the 20 week check up. I thought it would be a great B-Day gift for me. I have been way more anxious with finding out what this baby is than I was with Saige. I could not sleep the night before and it was like Christmas when I was little. Our apt. was at 9:30am and my mom and dad came to with us. Our doctor has been doing this for 35+ years and has a very old ultrasound machine. It is not like the one we used in NY last year. It was very hard to even see what the heck you were looking at. It also does'nt help that the baby was really low in the pelvis and butt down. So we got one good shot between the legs and he said he thought that 90% it was a girl, but I don't trust that answer. We will go back in 4 weeks to see if we can see anything then. Darn It! I hate waiting again, but it is kind of fun not knowing what we are having. I just want a healthy baby and it does not matter to Ben or I what the gender is. We can't wait until Sep. 8th to see the little one again!

Saige's 1st B-Day!

Saige opened presents early with Grandma and Grandpa Lee. She loved all her gifts!

The Birthday Girl in her B-Day shirt!

Ben and I made 72 cupcakes for her party. What were we thinking! We had plenty of left overs! It was so fun making them (Ben was loving decorating them!)

Saige ate her cupcake so fast! She never missed a crumb!

Owen and Saige loved playing on the boxes the presents came in. They had so much fun together!

Saige had a great 1st B-Day!  We had a blast celebrating it with her and cannot wait to celebrate many more with her in the future.

She is old enought that she can do some unwrapping on her own.  Though when she rips a piece off instead of going for the present she tries to eat the wrapping paper...must have been close to dinner time.

Saige had an early birthday and got lots of presents from Grandma and Grandpa, Kimmy, and Doug.  She loves toys and has been having a blast with her more interactive ones.

On our way to our hike we were just driving along and my Dad says, "Do they have any moose around here?"  Brian, who was ahead of us, pointed out his truck window into the field and there was a Mommy Moose.  A few seconds later we saw her two calves running feverishly to catch up with her so they could hide in the thicker brush.  It was really neat to see them!

Saige loved being taken in the baby carrier.  She was jabbering the whole way up.  She wanted to see everyone and touch everything.

It was nice to have grandma and grandpa with us.  Though, I was concerned that I would have to put Dad into the baby carrier and lug him out...he's not much of a hiker.

I caught a beautiful 16" cutthroat trout on my first cast!  It was neat because I could see the fish cruising the shallows searching for food.  I casted near one he darted like he was gonna swim away, then turned right back around and came and ate my fly.

Saige had a lot of fun.  She really enjoys being outdoors...can you tell?

The Lees visit!

Saige sure loved the hike in to Aldous Lake, but I don't think she got much from the hike out.  Good workout though...talk about dead weight.

Hill Sealing!

So we had the best weekend ever! We were able to attend the Idaho Falls Temple this Friday to see my sister Jana and her hubby Brian go through and get their endowments. It was so great to have another family member go through the Temple. Then on Saturday morning we were able to see them get married and then sealed to their three beautiful children. It was so amazing when they opened the doors of the sealing room to let the children enter. We all cried when we saw Kenzie, Ivan, and little Owen all dressed in white. What an awesome and memorable experience! I will never forget that day. Congrats Hill Family!
