I am sad to inform everyone that our family has suffered a tragic loss. We had to sell our baby to make a deposit for graduate school. Though it was a problem child, the green weenie was dearly beloved. We knew that it wouldn't fair too well in the frigid temperatures of the northeast.

Shanae and I are busy taking everything off the walls and putting unused items into plastic bins. We are very anxious to move. The last month has gone by so slowly. We wish it would just be time to move already. We are excited to do a lot of outdoor activities before we move though. We have several camping trips planned, as well as a hiking trip. We are also planning on doing a little when we get to NY.

For Shanae this is the first trip cross country and the second trip to the East. We are excited to be able to experience the midwest from a window on the highway. We are staying one night in St. Louis at the Renaissance Grand and Suites Hotel, which is one half mile from the Gate to the West. We are excited to go up into it before moving on. Also, we are stopping in Kirtland, OH. Where we will live in Ithaca, NY is four hours from NYC, one and a half hours from Palmyra, and three hours from Niagara Falls. NY will be a great mix of dedicated study and exciting adventure for us!
