We thought only OLD people get Shingles, but we were wrong. Ben went running last Saturday and after his ten mile run he noticed some small red bumps. They got worse over the next few days and by Monday I told him to go to the doctor. When the doctor told him to pull up his shirt and show him he immediately knew what they were. Ben was freaking out. They cover his right side and back. He has been in a lot of pain this last week and so I have been trying to take care of him. They are caused by stress. He says I am always stressing, but look who got SHINGLES! I hate seeing him sick, but glad it is not me this time! They are starting to look better and hope they go away soon. He sees the doctor at the end of next week again.
I asked Ben if it was ok to put a topless picture of him on our blog and he said as long as I put one of me topless too. Don't worry I will spare you the pain!
my little sister had shingles a few years ago. she said it was so painful!
